All adjustments to the equipment in the authorised Service Centre are made on original machines approved by the manufacturers. Our Service Centre uses only original spare parts.
Dust is a curse for modern digital cameras, especially for DSLR cameras. To ensure the highest quality of our services, the cleaning of the image sensor is carried out in a special dust–free chamber, that guarantees a work under the sterile conditions. The chamber is equipped with a ventilation system which constantly collects dust particles.
The cleanliness of the image sensor is checked by diagnostic programmes recommended by the manufacturers.
This service includes correction of the bias in the AF system, which affects on the accuracy of the focus settings. Before the adjustment, we will use Flange back tester to measure the position of the image sensor and clean AF sensor from dust. Adjustment of the AF system is carried out using the fine-tune programmes provided by the manufacturer.
Adjustment of the image sensor position is to check the correct installation of the camera’s converter. Biases in its position can indicate mechanical faults or earlier unauthorised repairs, which may affect the performance of the AF system and lead to uneven layout of the focus in the frame. Adjustment to the position of image sensor is carried out using the Flange back tester.
A full disassembly of the camera is required for main board replacement. It is followed by an overall adjustment of the analogue and digital sections. This includes adjusting the AF, light sensor, white balance, shutter speed and downloading the manufacturer’s information file to the camera’s image sensor. Files are accessible only from the authorised Service Centres. Replacement of the motherboard without additional adjustments will lead the camera to malfunction (resulting in large amount of dead pixels, improper functioning of the AF, aperture and light sensor).
Flash tube unit replacement requires a full disassembly of the device. Once the flash tube unit is replaced (N.B. faulty parts are replaced only with new and original spare parts), we will also make necessary adjustments to ensure its correct settings. Adjustments are carried out using special software and regulatory tools, which are available only from the authorised Service Centres. Please note that replacement of the flash tube (or head tube unit) without AF adjustment can lead to incorrect exposure, explosion of the flash tube, damaging the flash control system and burning the electronics of the flash lamp.
Prices of the replacement vary depending on the model of the flash lamp.
At our Service Centre we replace the aperture unit only with new and original spare parts delivered to us by the manufacturers. Replacement of the faulty part involves disassembly of the lens and adjustment of the optic system. During the adjustment, we use a purpose-built projector with a correct level indicator for image resolution, available only at the authorised Service Centres. Replacement of the aperture unit will not affect on the performance of the AF system (FF, BF). Please note that any changes to the optic system requires new adjustment.
